You fax them the filled out waiver form with all your information such as credit card you will pay with, all your truck information to include VIN and when they get it and process it, they will just call you back with the unlock code...fairly simple process. And a BIG difference on performance...VERY worth a hundred bucks, I think

With Edge Hot alone, I put down 396hp/797tq on a Mustang...so I didn't get the full 160hp/350tq that Edge claimed (I got more like 130hp/270tq) but either way, it's a HUGE difference between Hot and stock...throw a pressure box into the equation and it's just really smooth...I love it!

As for how long the tranny will last...that's totally up to you I guess. I put my Edge on at about 5k and am sitting at about 20k now and I have had zero problems. Course, I don't do boosted launches and race from stop light to stop light all day long either. I have pulled a 10k boat, 4.5k rv trailer with no problems what so ever...and in the next month and a half or so, will be pulling my buddies Dodge Dakota on a dual axle trailer from out here in San Diego, CA to east Tennessee (about 2500 miles) and I am 100% confident that I will have no issues. It's all about smarts I say!

No problem bud...if you're lookin at getting the Hot upgrade, go for it...the '05 Hot upgrade is a good bit stronger than the Hot upgrade for my truck...you'll love it!

Call 888-36-EDGE and ask for the unlock code. You'll have to sign a waiver thats available on the Edge website. It's $100 and will DEFINITELY Smoke better than the lower 5 settings!!!

whoa guys.

Edge Juice Attitudes are totally different on 06+ from 04.5-05 trucks....and accordingly 03-04 Juice/Attitudes are different as well.

Hot code on 03/04 is 150hp/350 ft lbs tq, 04.5-05 is 180hp/440 ft lbs tq, and 06+ is 160hp/350 ft. lbs tq.

Obviously, 04.5-05 owners will benefit more from a Hot Juice than owners of other years. They are all different programs so its un-fair to base anything off on 06 truck for an 05 truck.

I had a Hot Juice in the past and loved it. I regret ever selling it. I will have one again later this week to try with injectors and my SilverBullet.

Phil,

That's exactly what I said a couple posts above...with the mods that I have right now, I wish that I had an '05...I think my numbers would be a little higher than they are right now...course, as of right now, I am pretty happy where I am at. I have outrun a FEW "performance" cars and can still offroad decently and out pull most anybody that I have raced so far! I LOVE my truck! I am driving home to VA in about a month and a half and I have challenged my dad to a pull off/race in his '99...I used to drive that truck and STILL love it to this day...but I will keep ya'll informed as to whether or not he takes up my challenge...I am kinda doubting it

I Beta tested for Edge on the 04 555. I have the Hot Juice and the Attitude II MOd with the Camera, I love it! I am running a stick though. You do have to be carful with any chip, it can eat a auto trans.

what pressure boxes stack with the hot/ juice. I've heard the smarty doesn't play well with edge.

Hot Juice on 03 already does some pressure, but its mild pressure. Be on the safe side and don't stack a hot juice with a pressure box on an 03.

I would try it with a Diablo Predator with no added timing. Morkable has that stack.

If you want a pressure box....EZ, MP8, XZT pressure only, Dr. Performance Predator will all work
