Man he needs a gauge, that would answer a lot of questions.....

sure bring ol Blake Getzandaner on. I hear he is in houston now actually.

BigBlue may be able to help me on this one....

Blake Getzander's truck: 2001 6 speed, 4x4, Larger turbo, injectors, propane, i think Edge comp box stacked with something else........

"legend" has it he runs in the 12's....i call BS. Banshee broke into the 12's with a 3rd gen HIGHLY modified truck. I don't think its possible the truck described above could run 12's. One realistic guy from Waxahachie told me he thought Blake could only turn 14's....which sounds better. I have never been able to find anyone who actually saw Blake Getzandaner run the track...but i have heard reports the he would go out on the track and get the tires wet so he could whitesmoke all 4 for a show...but thats it.

In the "race" last night, the 04.5 truck has run 13.6 before.....but my truck on 295 tires and a stock turbo out ran him! its mind boggling to me.

Bosshog- between now and christmas, i plan to be at the track in Ennis. If you want to come out and shoot the bull with us, we'd be glad to have ya.

Depends on how large the turbo, injectors, propane, and what he's got stacked. If everything is big enough he could most definately have the power to run in the 12's. Now, the launch and how fast he shifts is what's gonna hurt him. With a full billet DTT, I'd do a 15-20psi 4wd launch and eat him up. There are very few people that can run through the gears fast enough to break into the 12's with a 6spd. Not saying that he isn't one of them, just saying.

either way, i think its awesome what these trucks can do. Who ever thought a truck well over 7000 pounds could run 12's or even 13's? I love it I love it!

I have only seen 2 duramaxes ever run the track...both were in the 17's! I know theres some fast ones out there but i haven't seen them run.

Come on down to Houston, Houston Raceway Park. Let me know, there are a couple of trucks around running Smarty stacks that would come out and play with us. No tickets given on the track for speeding..

That 04.5 needs to add a TST box... I stacked the TST with my Smarty and the top end pulls "a lot" harder now... The SMARTY is great down low and the TST is awesome up on top. The MP8 is no doubt a great addition for both the TST and SMARTY. We put a MP8 in John P's "bone stock" 06 a week ago and made a few runs up & down the road and I was really impressed...

I'm sure yall have great results, John i know you have 12.4 i think it was...

but the smarty didn't work for me and something isn't working for the 04.5 truck in this scenario.

I love to find out how my truck won. Aside my opinions of the smarty, he dynoed 546 to the wheel. How did my truck win? draining of the rail is a theory.....any more ideas? I just want to learn. Is there some variable i'm missing?

exactly what i said. The owner of the truck never could get the TST to work right and gave up apparently.

but still 546hp compared to my hot juice/mp8 stack? makes no sense to me.
