Hit the rollers today, dissapointed......

Well here is what the machine (Mustang) had to say;

100 hp Diablo tune 333.8/601.6

100 hp Diablo plus 100 Juice 376.0/819.4

160 hp Diablo plus 100 hp Juice 397.2/844

I'm pretty bummed, I was hoping for mid 400 range, I can't believe I didn't even crack 400! Do the numbers seem right, doesn't that first run especially look low? It was getting the same boost as I see on the street, about 36 so I don't think I was slipping on the rollers. Lots of black smoke though so it looks like the beer cans will be going into a twins fund.

not bad numbers for one thing. was your clutch slipping?
your fass pump should supply plenty of fuel to your cp3, maybe it isnt keeping up. maybe you should try a tst or an mp8 stacked on your diablo.
I put down 465 the first run on the dyno with a smarty only. maybe you should give the smarty a try also. I hear alot of good things about diablo

I'm pretty sure the clutch was holding, I was getting good boost numbers.

id say try one more time on another dyno, maybe that mustang dyno wasn't setup right.

Kind of what I was thinking, just got off the phone with another local dyno shop to see if they have time. I know I tried this dyno once a couple months back and we didn't get a stock run off before it glitched out. It took them at least a month to get the software upgrades done but maybe it still has some tuning issues. Either that or I'm just too optimistic!

I have Hot Juice stacked with the Power Puck and only put down 424hp/879tq on a Mustang...your buddy's numbers aren't right because I'm pretty sure that the Predator alone isn't a stronger setup than a Hot Juice/Puck stack.

Amen to that...the operator for the Mustang told me to add 20% to both of my numbers and that would give me my approximate numbers on a Dynojet...500hp+/- and 1050tq+/-

On another note for you...you're never going to get the FULL HP numbers advertised from both boxes/programmers that you're using when they are stacked (my Puck is rated at 90hp and I got about 30 out of it)...they will only compliment each other. And your numbers are only about 30hp/40tq lower than mine and I am in a truck rated at 20hp/55tq higher than yours stock...I think you're about right.

I guess compared to yours with the hot juice my numbers seem in the ball park. I definiteley wasn't expecting the claimed full power (would be cool if it worked like that) from the 2 but I would have liked to see a bit more. On my first run it doesn't appear that I'm getting anywhere near Diablos claimed 100.

If you were to dyno on a Dynojet, I bet that you would see closer numbers to what the manufacturers of these products (Edge, Diablo, etc.) claim to be putting at the wheels. If I had my dollars to gamble away, I would bet that they ALL put their products on whichever dyno that they can get the largest numbers to lay claim to. Stock my truck ran 274hp/537tq stock...with the Edge on Hot level 6 only, I hit 395hp/721tq (so I only got 121hp from a box rated at 160hp and about 190tq where it's rated at 350tq) and when I turned the Puck on 90hp setting, my numbers went up to 424hp/879tq...so it helped substantially, but neither were laying down what they claimed...that's why I wish I would have gone to a Dynojet, but there aren't any around where I am that have the optical pickup to give me torque numbers, so I had to settle.

I tend to agree with that.
I have an 03, see my sig, see my numbers. As you can see it didn't take a whole lot to get there, but I dynoed on a good dyno though.

That big ol' turbo helped you SUBSTANTIALLY...I wish that when I dyno'd I had a bigger turbo...you can tell by my dyno video that my truck needs air BADLY. I am smoking like a freight train and all I have is what's in my sig. Mustang operator said that had I had more air, my numbers would have been a good bit better.
