Hit the Dyno Today
well i didn't reach my goal of 600 but wasn't too far off either. 576hp 1146ftlbs. i'll attempt to post up my graph later and see what you guys think of it. i'm thinking that i need a little more turbo

wish i could tell you, i was so pumped that i wasn't even looking 2500 degrees for all i know we ran our own trucks and i made the mistake of not having my old man sit shotgun to observe the guages

yeah i wish you could have made it too! there were about 25 tucks that showed up and a good time was had by all the top prize was a 41" NAPA tool chest and was given to the truck with the 3 most consistent hp pulls. the winner had all 3 pulls within .04hp.....pretty impressive

they had one last fall but when i talked to the shop owner today he was unsure if he wanted to do it twice or only once a year.

What settings were you using on the Smarty? What kind of rail pressure do you maintain. I'm guessing it could be the cp3 holding you back more than the turbo. I was over 600 with an little A3k turbo - too hot but it made the number.

You were pretty close to your goal. I do know your pain, done that plenty of times with a gas motor.

So you didn't pay attention to gauges on the dyno, but you do on the street don't you? What kind of rail pressure do you maintain when your foot is to the floor? Also, what were the Smarty settings?

i ran the smarty sw9 rp4 tim2 tq4 . i run sw9 tq4 tim2 rp2 on the street. i've run rp3 on the street also, and it will hold 24k. i've never run rp4 on the street though
