well, after running the HTTSS 62/71/13, it appears this is what I will be staying with for towing and everyday driving for awhile. Like its big brother the 66/71/16, it runs cool 600-700* @ 80MPH @2000 RPM unloaded. It spools quicker obviously with the smaller compressor and turbine housing, however, it will get up there in EGT's say in race mode all out fuel. This is where it's big brother shines. As far as towing there is no surging issues and pulling 12K 5th wheel with my auto no EGT's issues either. As far as racing, I had to cut back on fueling as now I have too much fuel for the smaller turbo at top end. Although, I will be racing this turbo at DHRA's vegas in a couple of weeks I know it won't perform as well as the larger Silver Bullet turbo I ran before. How much less I don't know until I try it out??? You just can't do everything with the same turbo, so it looks like my racing days are numbered. For perhaps 95% of the people the HTTSS 62/71/13 will serve their needs.. Now there is a fine line between the ability of heavy towing and racing with 64/71/13 series or the 64/71/16. Perhaps there might be a little more room to squeeze a little more power and still tow heavy?
Is there anyone out there that is totally happy???

I was looking at getting a new turbo and would like to go with the HTTSS. Have they made them in the 64 /71 yet? If your EGTs are that low I would have now problem with the 62(I dont have all that fuel you have). But if you could keep us posted on this new turbo it would help me out alot.

After May Maddness and DHRA races in Vegas, I will be trying the 64/71/13cm and will let everyone know. HTT will making available 62/71/13, 64/71/13, 64/71/16 & of course 66/71/16cm. Those going to DHRA will see Ken Jones of "Wild Diesel" and his unbelievalble 1942 dodge power wagon twin turbo running a huge HTT turbo and a HTTSS 66/71/16 cm combo. This is a one of a kind sled puller unlike anyone has seen before. A real show stopper. Took a ride in it today and all you can do is hang on.

You won't believe how it looks today!!!! I believe Diesel Power Mag. will be taking pictures for a future mag this week. Next time I'm at Ken's shop I'll take some pics. Can't say I can take any credit for the truck, however, did a lot of counsulting with Ken, and watched it grow from the boneyard to what it is today!
