I've had my truck around a full year now and have wanted to get a smarty jr pretty much this entire time but finally bit the bullet and bought one. Installed it this weekend and had the first major test driving back up to school.

The first part was all mainly flat driving, 50-60mph big nasty head wind too. After an hour on the highway filled up when I reach a town. Calc'd out to 22.9mpg Man that was great. Best I've ever had on my truck beat my old record of 20.9mpg by 2mpg and the only difference was the smarty jr. Set on SW3-TM4-TQ4 I wanted to see how she'd run on these settings.

So then I did the 2nd part of my drive, mainly uphill thorugh the mountains for 200km. Filled up again when I finally arrived and that calc'd out to 14 mpg. I was shocked but not surpised too bad, I noticed on the big hills there was always a bit of haze coming out the tailpipe. I kept it 60-70mph.

All this was empty but needless to say I'll be using that setting only for when I'm on flat land. I'm gonna drop it to SW1-TQ4- TM2 and she how she does in the hills next time. Found a good flat cruising setting now just need to balance it out. I'm loving the 22.9mpg though.

 

Just got my Jr about a week ago. Still messing with different settings. Ill start doing some mileage calculations now. I'm on SW3 TQ2 TM4 and POD 75
