Highest EGT witnessed on your own truck

1650degf revo #9 with mp-8 all the way, occurred while running down a maserati from behind, should have seen the look on his snot nosed lawyer type face. Probably had it there more than 10 seconds while passing 120speedo, worth every price my aftremarket 62/14htt had to pay.

A tad over 1400, that towing 10,000lbs in 40 degree temps in Arizona. Other than that I could mat the pedal and see 1400 easy with the Edge and hot unlock, that using the stock turbo. After twins, my temps are much more user friendly.

Smarty JR on Level 3
I haven't seen anything over 1200 or so and that was lugging it in OD going up a pass (about 55 MPH in OD).
Most of the time 1050 or 1100 is all it will get to.
I haven't towed anything heavier then 2k though.
On my 01, I've seen 1300-1400 in a couple runs.

1820* at the end of the 1/4 mile.... only did that once.
1775* numerous times at the end of the 1/4 mile.
1450* on dyno runs up to 499 HP.
1400* on daily driving if I blast from 60 to 85 MPH everything on kill.
1100* max on sustained towing
550* cruising down the highway at 65 mph empty.
244K miles and still running great. By the way, my next tank after a super high EGT 1/4 mile night always nets my best fuel economy. I wonder if burning all the carbon out of the motor helps with fuel economy??

1570* for a few seconds passing a subaru with my truck camper loaded on an 8% grade. Granola cruncher was doing 45 in a 60 zone. Should have seen the look on her face. Priceless!

Nope. My block is made of krypton and the pistons are magneseomite. It is impervious to heat.
That is a probe that shorted/goofed. Its not real. Makes for good conversation though.

1400 degrees with beta 4.4 on level 5 and stock turbo. I am supposed to get my 64/65/13 ss today so in a few weeks I will know how it compares.
The above was empty on flat ground just flooring it to 75ish.
