high rpm miss
My truck has recently developed a miss around the 2800 to 3200 rpm area. If I floor the truck from a lower rpm it will just pull through it. But if I let it kick down or stand on it around that rpm it will stumble and miss terrible.
Thanks for the help.

It's either an injector or a fuel delivery problem. My tractor did something like this and it was a plugged fuel filter. Changed it and all was well.
Edited: Are you still running the factory LP on the fuel canister?

Thanks for the reply Spooler. I just finally got back to a computer. Yes I still have the factory lift pump by the filter. I know I need to upgrade, just hadn't got to it yet and didn't see the need untill maybe now. What seems so strange about the problem to me is that it is never consistant, but maybe that is normal for a fuel delivery problem. Another question here too, does anyone make an electric gauge or controller that measures both fuel and rail pressure? Thanks

Have you tried taking off the downloader? Like Spooler said, fuel problem. First thing I think of is draining the fuel rail.
Quadzilla makes a digital guage for fuel and rail pressure.

I haven't completely removed the downloader just turned to stock power. It gets progressively worse with more power but it still does it some at stock power. Thanks

Fuel pressure gauge for the lift pump would tell you exactly what is going on along with a rail pressure gauge. I have an ISSOPRO fuel pressure and Quad X2 for rail pressure. My factory, on the canister LP, died around 24,000 miles. Had the in tank LP installed under warranty.
