No reason you shouldn't be able to use the high idle, I did a quick search to verify if wasn't a fluke I had high idle. It appears all 04's and up should work fine, even the TSB's to prove this. May have a hard time finding a dealer to enable on a 6spd. Have someone with a smarty upgrade the software and then go back to stock and you will/should have the latest stock software with the high idle enabled. Maybe even a bddl, but im still scepticel of those screwing with ECM and not totally up to date, but what do I know.

There seem to be a lot of threads about high idle and what years, along with doing it on the 6 speed. I love using it, certainly is loud at 1100rpm with the front half of the truck still in the garage!!

about how much does it cost to enable the high idle for a 6 speed 2005?

a dealer will charge 1 hours labour even thought it takes about 15 minutes,if u bought it there they may do it for free.

The dealer will do it for free if you specify as a pre-delivery requirement. They screwed up on mine and didn't do it. When I took it back in, it took about 2 minutes right in the service breezeway.

Just some extra info on this topic if vehicle speed reached 3mph high idle is diasbled I was going to wire it to my clutch switch till found out it gets shut off automaticlly

I don't know how you ever could reach 3mph, soon as you tap/touch the brake pedal to put it in gear the high idle shuts off.....
