Uh, not true.
I don't know about Smarty JR. but I have regular Smarty on my 04 and it is activated by turning on your cruise control and then hitting the "set" button once. RPMs will then climb to about 1200. High idle will shut off as soon as you either step on the brake or turn off the cruise.

What month was your truck built?
You have to have the option in the ECM to even turn it on as others have informed me - so that means 04.5 and up ECM's have the option.

No worky on 03's. Even some of the 04.5's that had the vacuum controlled cruise couldn't use it. That seemed to be the determining factor as to which module it had. Vacuum cruise - no high idle ( other than the high idle after 2 minutes under 32* ), those without vacuum cruise ( electronic cruise ) could have the high idle enabled.

What is the build date on your truck? Do you have electronic cruise or vacuum operated?

Be interesting to see what software revision your ECU has. I was told it was a revision level that added it and that revision could be put on some late 03 ECU's.
Roxj's truck is right in that time period that was supposedly able to be flashed to the needed level.
