I personally don't like to raise my egt's above 1250. My probe is down by the turbo so I can only wonder what the egts are before it hits my probe...

I just want to play it safe. but ever since I have down a lot of upgrades I really don't have high egts anymore. And that's pulling a 8000lb pound gooseneck horse trailer with 5 horses. That's quite the load on these Wyoming mountains. But if I do get high I will slow down and down shift....


If I hot rod it I can hit some high temps with all tuners cranked. But I only let it hit for a second and I shut it down
