What Ratt did is the same thing I do on the new Impalas I set up. Just drill the larger hole in the outside layer then 1 inch for the pop in style bulbs.

Looking to buy & install strobes? I tow a large boat and when backing into my driveway I block traffic going 30-50mph. Even w/my hazzard lts on in a couple of cases, people don't see me and have almost ran into the trailer. Most of the cases have been at night so I'm really wanting to install them to keep idiots from running into me or the trailer. Thinking one in each of the front parking lights and one in each of the rear reverse lights. In Tx is there any reason I could be ticketed for this? I was going to wire it in with the hazzards so they would all be flashing at the sametime. Any recomendations would be appreciated.

Just don't try to pull people over with your strobes and you won't have a problem. Check out www.lshlights.com/AMAZING/ they have a set for $170.

As long as you run clear or amber strobes you'll be ok. You just can't have any red or blue lights showing towards the front of the vehicle.
