HID help with Daytime Running Lights

I got a 6k 9007 HID conversion kit for the 05 but being a dummy and not researching I soon found out that I needed resistors to get them to work without flickering. I am going to buy the "special harness" from HID speed because there is no way im going to wire in resistors, but will they still flicker because of the factory DRL? what if i simply turn on the lights everytime I get in the truck, will that make them work? I could not care less about the DRL becuse i usually turn on my headlights when I get in anyway. Also, when I fabbed up the lights i could not get a tight fitting bulb in the factory headlights, will this cause a problem?, should a add some type of spacer?.
Sorry for all the questions but im kinda confused on how this will work.

Thanks

cummins 610.. Whats wrong with having resistors in the HID system ?.. You don't mention if your system is dual beam or just the single beam..I have dual beam on both my Ram and Nitro.. The Ram presented more of a challenge.. Without the resistors I can't see how your going to eleminate the "bulb out " warning in the instrument panal.. Personally I chose wiring my fog lights as a DRL .. I wired 3 25w/25 Ohm resistors into my system and on the passenger side a double 10w/10 Ohm to exstinguish the Bulb out lamp.. All installed behind the head lamps out of sight and weather ,

just had the same problem with mine,

so I put a 10000 uf 16v capacitor on the low beam to ground as well as one on the high beam.

they work fricken awsome now.

HID speed hooked me up on my issue but you also might have to find a dealer to kill the DRL. they can go into the ECM and turn that feature off. I know it is the law up there to have them on though.

I had to do the tape job around my connectors into the headlight assembly to create a tight seal.

Yea, the resistior will need to be there but im not cutting/splicing-I will spend the $70 and get the pre-made harness, but I still need to find out about the DRL.
