Yes, I'm stacking my MP8 but turned down. The rumor is that 4.4 adds "little" presure, so I don't see any issues with running my MP8 at 30-40%.

I'm toying w/ the idea of running the lower settings on 4.4 at 1-3-5 w/ 60hp Quad setting, but I also know one of you guys blew a freeze plug w/ this setup right? Dodgezilla maybe?

Bob, I'll have to erase towing that 25k load from my memory along with the other 4k of miles I've put on towing in the last month. You need to have alot of common sense to run the Beta's while towing....Having water helps....I don't use enough of the skinny pedal to go over 22psi when towing...and I tow more in 3rd than I ever have to keep the revs up. So far all has been very very good. I accidently towed on Beta 4.4 sw7 once.....that was hard to control as the fuel would pour on in a second. Empty is a blast though. Keryr

That's weird. I've noticed more low-end power with 4.4, but nothing drastic. I'm running level 5 and would compare it to approx. moderate on level 7. Oh, and Bob my tranny loves the new program. Night and day difference, 100% better. Smokes much less, smoother idle, smoother acceleration, quieter, and shifts great. Whatever was done for the shifting, please don’t change it.

If you read what Bob said, " finally got a dyno......numbers were higher than anticipated", he was referring to the hp/torqure numbers. We've all noted that EGT's have held in check, so that obviously wasnt an issue, and did not need a dyno to test.
And I believe he was speaking about only 4.4, but you should get clarification.
I for one towed with 4.4 on level one and it was readily apparent that hp levels were not within the parameters. Hopefully, the slipping didnt do any permanent damage to the tranny.

I have towed with beta 4.4 on SW#5 and my Goerend tranny has been great, I am glad it is not stock. Beta 4.4 on SW#5 feels a bit stronger that SW#7 that originally came with the smarty. Since my tranny can handle the power and EGT's are good is there any other reason not to tow with the beta? When I tow it is only an 18 foot ski boat that I would guess is 3500 #s at best so any reason not to use the beta?
