Help...trying to updare Smary

Start a new folder in your documents and name it Smarty. Put all downloads that pertain to Smarty in it. Make sure all downloads are un-zipped. Then when you are searching for downloads they will be in your documents folder named smarty.

Also one last thing...are you sure you installed the driver for the Smarty correctly? And have you run any other downloader? If problems persist you could un-install the driver and hook Smarty back up and find the driver in your newly created Smarty folder.(assuming you save it there)
After I un-zip my downloads I get rid of the zip file so the only files in my Smarty folder are the ones needed to update the Smarty.

After you are sure driver is correct I will try to help you from there. Maybe try to un-install driver from add-remove programs and install again.

Yes, need to unzip the files. If you're running XP the archive program is embedded. Just double click the file and select extract. Running 95/98/NT try Winrar. You can download a trail version from here. http://www.rarlab.com/
