I second the Smarty of course, but on a tight budget I would go with what one person already reccomended, buy a used Quad X2 in the classifides. You can use it later to add pressure to your Smarty after you get all bombed up. then I'd put a $50 K&N drop in, and gauges. That should be the cheapest route to some good power...that and either taking off your muffler or adding a performance one. The Quad has a boost fooler, but you could also add a boost elbow for cheap...I think $15.
Hope this helps. Going with the Smarty SR/POD will be way too much for your stock trans. Using the Quad will limit you to 140hp, which is still a bit too much for a stock trans. I still like my quad, but the smarty's the ticket!

There is a used Diablosport predator in the classifieds for $225. With your truck being an auto and using the RKL tune I guarantee that your truck should run at the least mid 14's with a boosted launch in 4wd. Granted that your auto will not live long doing that many times but you would be able to embarass quite a few trucks. You need to remember that with a tight budget like myself and many other guys on here it just takes time and knowing your limits.
