Help, my truck rides like a rock with clay wheels

Hello. I have 2'' spacers up front and nothing else yet. When I had it done, they replaced the shocks. I told them to just put some new shocks in. Now, my tires are all 4 at 65 psi. Give me advice for a Caddy-like ride please. I know the ultimate would be some full on suspension kit. But I just wand to fix this quickly & cheaply so I can focus on speed parts.

Thanx.

Try lowering the pressure to around 40-50 # and see if that helps.
What kind of shocks did they put in??
I just installed Bilsteins and its helped.

I am pretty sure the Mega goes to the Heavy Duty so the suspension is going to be a little firmer.

I put my tires to 65 per advice on the board here to avoid death wobble. I experienced it once and it was really bad.

Thanx.

you have a 3500 truck made to haul over 10000 lbs its not going to ride like a Caddy. People wanting softer rides and smoother shifting out of these trucks is one of the reasons we spend so much money moding them after DC gets done making them like caddy's.

True. But it now rides much worse than when I first got it. I will drop the tire pressure a tad. I would like some good shock ideas.
Thanx.

I bet its your shocks. What brand did they put in? my truck wasnt to bad when it was new but when i put my 2" lift on I put BDS shocks in and it rode like a brick. then I put the 4.5" lift on and it still road like it had no suspension so I replaced the shocks with billstines. Rides better then when it was brand new. Also I think running that tire pressure with no load is going to cause very poor tire wear and a hard ride.

I don't know what they put in there. I better find out. What did your shocks cost and do you know a model number or something?

Thanx.

what tire wheel combo are you running? If I remeber arent you runnin 305 65 bfgs on stock rims? If so the wobble came from the wider tire on the stock rim more than likely if you do not want to go any taller tire put the 285s on they are the same heighth but narrower hence no mushy wall or tire roll

also I am runnin 33-35psi in my 315s helped out some but will be ordering bilsteins soon

Right now I have the stock tires on. As soon as a take a drive to my brother's shop and pick up the tires, I have 315 Toyo MT's.

Thanx.

I have a buddy runnin 315s on stock and he said he gets some roll so I would recommend a lil wider rim or get the 295s still pretty tall but not as wide

Thanx Nitis. I am getting 2 tires for free, andthe other 2 I have to replace when my bro wants tires for his truck. So I am stuck with the 315's. I have a G56 so tall tires are needed. I do like those black steel rims though. What backspacing would I need to get and how wide?

Thanx.
