i would tell mp-8 to replace it. maybe you got a rebuilt one. if you look on ebay you can find just about any chip rebuilt and people trying to sell them dirt cheap. thats why i would never buy a chip off ebay

first off, make sure you got the correct model for your truck year, they are real picky about which one works on what trucks...... Make sure you didn't plug anything in backwards........ make sure all connections are tight......... try it again.......... if it still acts funny, take the mp8 off completely and see if the truck runs right with it off...... if it runs right, leave the mp8 off till ya talk to your salesman. relax and don't go nuts over it.

You should be able to noticeably feel it going down the road at a set speed if you turn it up and down. Cant miss its feel, on my truck when i turn it up you can hear the turbo spool quicker and you can tell you no longer need as much throttle to go any desired speed.
I suspect you may have gotten a wrong one. If it were hooked up wrong it would idle roughly. I would get the part number and model number and call TS performance. Is Alligator Diesel an authorized seller of MP-8???
