help me pull the trigger on mod

OK my 2005 dodge ram 2500 4x4 ctd has the smarty on it, afe stage 2 rok sensor and is strait piped. I plan to get a tst. maybe injectors and for sure a turbo. I mainly use my truck as a daily driver and to haul things/pull trailers with farm implements and my jeep rubicon and quads sometimes. I cannot decide what to do for the fuel system. I am thinking I will just get another fass system like I had on an 01 24valve. I just dont want to hace to get all crazy in trying to get it to work without 1/4 tank troubles and other probs. So please let me know what you all think would be best... GDP WALBORO OR FASS 150gph with filters.

I had a lot of problems with my gdp burning up pumps and dieing on me under 1/4 tank. I know a few people with fass and no problems at all

I don't have either one now. I got a new truck. I had GDP on my 05 and I had a lot of problems with it. I was about to switch to fass, then got me an 07 5.9 and haven't done much to this one. Maybe later on down the road. I have some friends with fass though and they love it. Install seemed pretty straight forward

thanks for the insight. did they have to do all that junk with the stock fuel canister mods and all or just do exactly as the fass kit says and everythings fine??

I'm not 100% on that one. On my gfs 07 I think they had to bypass the stock canister but don't hold me too that. She had hers done at Texas Diesel Power and I'm pretty sure he told me he had to bypass it

I have not had any problems with my GDP, and I know FASS is a quality product but I think I would at least take a look at the airdog before you pull the trigger.

I've heard of a lot of people that have had really good luck with GDP. I dono what the deal was with mine, but I was left stranded 2 different times. I was on my 3rd pump when I traded my truck in. Either way I can say glacier has awesome customer service. I talked to the main guy( sorry I can't remember his name, it was awhile ago), but either way he sent me three new pumps no questions asked, and then offered to give me a great deal on a raptor system since I was having so much trouble with my gdp

Yeah Richard is a good guy, and I wasnt argueing than any of you have had problems with the GDP kits, if you make enough of something you will have some mess ups, nobody or thing is perfect. But since I didnt see any positive posts about the GDP I just thought I would throw my 2 pennies in.

Honestly I dont think its gona make a dimes differance wich of the 3 pumps anybody chose. They are all good choices in my book.

Ya I would probably go with fass but like wap said, they're all three a good system. I just had bad luck with the gdp. Havn't really heard of anyone ever havn a problem with fass. And ya richard is a great guy and does have stand up service for anybody that goes with gdp
