Question Help-location for coolant temp sender

I'm getting ready to add a few more gauges. I'm adding a Rail Pressure, but need two others for a triple pod dash mount. I'm thinking of adding a oil pressure, which I saw somewhere that there is a port on the top of the oil filter housing that is easy to use for that. Can anybody confirm this or know of a better place for the oil pressure? Where is a good place to put a coolant sender that is 1/8" npt? I could order the 1/2" npt sender if that would be better. Any help is greatly appreciated. Tac

I mounted my oil psi sender right to the top of the filter housing/ oil cooler. ( right above the filter) The guage in the dash is kinda close, but it really is just an guestimate. The cluster calculates what oil psi "should" be, and that is what you see on the guage. It is not an "actual" reading. As for a fitting that you could screw a temp sender in.....it would be hard to get to, but there should be some core plugs near the rear of the engine. Some say that #6 runs the hottest. I would try to get as close to that as possible. Can't say for sure where or what size they would be. Just have to get a flashlight and start crawling around!

We have kits that plumb into the engine's coolant jacket (BOE & PSI), so you can get an adapter for the temp sensor.
