HELP! Installing AEM Brute Force Intake

I'm trying to install the AEM Brute Force HD intake and either I'm not looking at it right or it doesn't fit. The heat shield bracket that mounts to the side of radiator doesn't line up with the heat shield and the bottom of the shield rildes against the AC hose.

One of the reasons I bought this brand was because of the "perfect fit" AEM is supposed to have.

Any help is appreciated.
