Help on decisions for what to do next mod wise??????

I have a Quad Std. box and just put on the new HTT 62/71/13ss. I am going to upgrade the tranny next with Goerend TC, VB, Billet Input, Suncoast Laminate FP, Billet Output shaft if needed. Also installing a AirDog 100, and ATS Exhaust manifold.

Here is my delima. Get rid of the Quad and go with a Smarty or Install a set of Flux 1 injectors. 04.5 injectors are notorious for going south and I don't need that pulling the Horse trailer around. I am also not to keen of messing with the factory ECM's program. What would you do????

Spooling the turbo is acutally not that bad. Just a tidbit slower than I like starting off. After under way it is excellent.

If it were me, I would get a smarty because it will help spool that turbo a little quicker and it also controls the fueling and timing better through the ecm(I know you said you don't like it but ....)to give better performance and since your installing an airdog, your injectors should be fine for a while with better filtration. just my opinion

From reading your mods the standard box is not enough for you. You want more. We also know you are going to talk yourself into injectors. "That is not a bad thing thats a good thing". Since you will have an aftermarket turbo and injectors you know what programer has this options. It is only money so look at it like this. You are helping the country fight recession.

thanks for your recession fighting efforts.

I'd go injectors, then smarty b/c you already have the turbo. To me, those are the first two big things you need in our trucks. Injectors, turbo, then programing. Well, and head studs....

Would you even worry about upgrading to the ATS exhaust manifold? The only reason I would do injectors is to prevent a failure. I know Don M will go through them with a fine tooth comb.
