How did you "wire the heater" to prevent a code?

remove the wire running to the grid heaters, disconnect the main wiring harness from the battery but leave the little wires attached to the top of the solenoids. NO cel

depends on who you ask and where you live. if you live in a place that dont get cold and u never use it like i do in ca, then sure every little bit helps. as for the hp numbers you get for the price i have no idea if its worth it in that aspect. I just belive when your going for big numbers every little bit helps

i think the main benefit to these is if your running meth/water due to vaporization. When you inject these variables they are vaporised through jets, however when they reach your grid heater they attract to the metal and than drip, which due to physics is not as good as running the vapor. I believe with a grid heater delete and water meth you should be able to get better consistency through more even burning. Than again this is just what i think

good point if you shoot before the grid i shot after the grid. i know it has to slow the air flow down i mean when you look at it you can see it blocks some air but how much and being that its boosted air does it realy matter? i know on a plane the less drag means faster it goes so

i believe it should only help the upper rpms.(on gas engines, restrictions sometimes help lower tq).

This has me thinking...is there a problem running a grid heater with water injection? A friend of mine has a water kit and still has his grid heater in place. Should he be deleting his grid heater or will things be okay?

Cool. Not having one myself, it's nothing I even had thought about.

Could you happen to point me in the right direction to where the grid heaters are located? I am throwing a ground code to do with my grid heater right now, and am just trying to find out the issue without going to the dealership as the truck is running fine still. Just want to get rid of the engine light.
