The stock wastegate hole is approximately 19mm. I just used a dremel tool and some dremel grinding stones and about 3 hours later had a passage large enough to pass a quarter the whole way about 26mm.

A few guys have clamped the housing on an angle in a drill press with a 1.125" drill bit and opened it up that way.

A die grinder with a carbide burr would be really fast, I just don't own one.

The clamp arrived yesterday and it is indeed the correct part. My turbo showed up too so now I just have to decide if I want to do this swap now and possibly void the rest of my engine warranty or wait until the warranty is out in two years. I doubt that I will wait.......

How will adding a stock part void the warranty? You just wanted to add the better stock part that allows the engine to operate cooler when towing heavy...

I know! I was wondering the same thing. Would they give me a hard time when I am only installing a better "Upgraded" factory part to the truck. Dodge must have thought it was better since they did away with the old turbo, right?!?!? I also have a factory 4" downpipe to put on...

Okay finally getting around to ready the turbo for install, 4" exhaust is on its way. The onlt thing i need to do is plug the electronic WG actuator hole. I cut the top off of the actuator and there is a hole left in the threaded end just the right size to thread and put mt boost elbow.I will plug all of the airways in lower part of the home made ats plug with epoxy. what do you think? will it work? better than $60.00.

After looking at $1300-$2000 turbos, I might go this route........

I know the stock 03-04 turbo does about 22-24 PSI stock, effectively/efficiently. I can hit 35-37 PSI on my 341....

What PSI can we expect out of the HE351 with an adjustable elbow?

Also, if the larger downpipe a must with this upgrade? I mean, ultimately everything will be apart and easy to remove the smaller downpipe, but will anything be noticed with the smaller DP compared with the larger DP, whenusing the HE351?
