haze at an idle
I have a 06 5.9 that I put a smarty on and it was hazing at an idle so I took it off and the same problem... what is the cause of this?

If you mean you were getting some white smoke out the back, I'd go with low cylinder head temp, incomplete combustion, and those rather large injectors. What was the coolant temp? Did the hazing start after the injectors were installed. Check your oil level too and make sure you aren't dumping fuel into the crank case. That could mean a cracked injector.
