8240 lbs a while back with just 1/2 tank and me, and before toolbox/new rims and tires, so guessing around 8500 now.

Bone stock trim w/about 1/2 tank of fuel was a smidge over 6800lbs.

I was curious so I went for a drive out to the scales this morning and rolled in at 4400 kg's so around 9700 pounds with all my tools in the truck and myself. Also alot heavier than I thought it would be.

I'm flabbergasted!!!

I have a flip over hitch, a liftgate, cross bed and side boxes, a 4 drawer tool box behind my seat, a tackle box full of brass and other fittings behind passenger seat, a bed mat with 3/4" ply over that, a minimum of 4-500LB of parts....

And it goes right at 8,000 before I get in.

I'd have thought a LOT more based on what many have said!
