H2o/meth in fuel tank?

Im looking at either getting a stage 3 snow kit or the smarty right now. If get the snow kit I will most likely install a 100 gallon in-bed tank and I would like 2use my factory fuel tank for my water/meth tank.

Is this a bad idea for some reason or has anyone tried it before? I plan to build the tank out of stainless or aluminum. Ive been thinking the smarty is so much of an easier upgrade that I'll just do that and gather some more info first. But I would still like some help if you guys feel like it. Like what do in the tank besides a feed line, a return line, and a vent?

I dunno. That's about a thousand pounds of fuel and water. Planning to run the water/meth all the time? Snow performance system has setpoints that starts adding water/meth above a preset boost level, which is usually above 15psi mininum.
I figured a 5 gallon tank would be plenty.

5 gallons isn't really enough unless it's just a play/race truck. 8 is about the right size for most people who tow with it.

The water/meth mixture will degrade over time. Methonal is VERY volatile and evaporates quickly at room temp, so you'll end up with a lower concentration than you started. This would basically be wasting meth.

I'm not sure the stock fuel system can handle the meth either. It can be pretty corrosive to some materials (ie. rubber hoses, etc).

I have the fass system but your saying the hoses? I know it was a biased opinion coming from the guys at DPP but they say that they have alot of people who run it the whole time they tow. I always ran alcohol(ethynol) in my modified dirt car that had rubber hoses and the most I ever saw was some white build-up in the carb. How much difference in harshness I wonder in the two chemicals? I guess I thought they were mostly the same. Thanks though I guess I should do more research. But your probably right about the evaporation if it sets for a while. Maybe I was better with my original idea and build a stainless tank for in between the frame rail and body on the passanger side thats only around 10 gallons. I was just thinking that when I tow for 1000 to 2000 miles every couple of weeks that it would be nice to have more fuel cap. and the same proportional amount of water/meth.

Check with member XLR8R. He built a SS 10 gallon under the bed tank for his water/meth system.
