Guages, what do I need?

I know in the future I will be buying a performance pressure/ timing box like quadzilla, EDGE etc., and I want to get the gauges in now, so my question is what do I need, I know I need a fuel pressure, boost, EGT, but do I really need a TRANS TEMP guage? I want to get the windshield pod so I only have room for three gauges, is the trans temp guage neccessary?

I dont want to spend over 850.00 on a box and gauges is this possible?

Also, which gauge manufacture would you go with I don't want cheesy looking gauges. Which look best at night?

I have Graphite600 same idea in mind only I already have the box. I rarely every tow with my 48RE, so do I need a tranny temp guage?

Call Kyle Grahm, he set me up with guages and the new quad box for a bit less than 850.

I am a fan of the Di procol guages and if you are not Towing alot trans temp really is not absolutely neccessary. If you did start Towing you could always get a single cup or a platemount for under the dash and add Trans temp.

Thanks Matt, I didnt know they made a quad windshield mount! , I have the 48re trans, and I have my own Lawn Care Biz, I probably tow the trailer about 4 days a week, which includes a ZTR mower weighing about 1800 lbs, and a trailer 12' long, bunch of trimmers mowers and stuff, all together the weight is about 4500 lbs. or in the area of that.

I just installed boost, tranny and egt for around $300.That included pod and taps and wiring.I installed everything myself .I tow a 9000lb camper in all kinds of terrain so tranny gauge was crucial . I mounted thermocouple pre turbo.I want to know exact temp. I will add HP someday,am still amazed at stock power this truck gives me. I tow without white knckles.I will post the pics of install soon

Forgot to mention I got my setup from Dieselmanor.com.Great to deal with and have pricematch.I got the diprocal white, match stock great

EDIT I posted some pics of the gauge set up and sending unit locations
