Guages installed!

Just finished my boost and pyro install. I tried using a column mount. I'm not sure how much I like it, but I do like it better than the pillar mounted ones.

Wish mine would show up. Diesel Manor told me a couple weeks, its been almost a month and they say maybe at the end of this month they will have them in. I think it was the piro gauge that was back ordered. With my mods I sure would like to see what is happening. I chose the pillar mount with 3 gauges. I thought the tranny gauge might be nice to have as well.

Man that stinks, they were very quick to get mine to the door.

My only regret was buying that silly boost bolt...talk about a $8 waste of money. Needless to say I had the pervbial cow when I finger tightend the bolt down and the thing snapped off about 1/3 of a turn after hand tightening. Luckily I had a small enough easy out that fit and I was able to put the original bolt back in.

I figured that since I already tapped the exhaust manifold, I might as well do the same on the intake horn.

well I think I am getting the bolt as well, or supposed to be getting it. I have thought about ordering from somewhere else but there pricing seems to be the best, and the idea that everything is in the box to do the job sounded good as well as that tranny line for the sending unit. No one else offered that, I was not interested in tapping into my tranny pan or welding fittings on it. Hope this stuff works like they say. Sounds like one part is not going to work so well.

I ordered the SRT10 A pillar mount (handle w/1 gauge pod), 3 gauge dash mount, ISSPRO Gauges: pyro, trans, fuel, boost, tranny line and the MBRP 4" CAT Back T-304 S.S. exhaust system all from Diesel Manor. I put in the order weeks ago, and as of yesterday they're telling me that they probably won't have everything in and shipped until the end of the month or first week of Nov. As I understand it, the pyro is on back order. I didn't order an extra Banjo bolt because I was told the package included it. I live in Kingston, Ontario and I'm guessing it's not going to get any warmer as time goes on. Looks like I may be trying to install in the cold...

Thats what I've got with ISSPRO gauges. I used the boost bolt though and used a torque wrench to go to the suggested torque with no problem. Your boost bolt must have been defective from the factory. I've heard of this happening before.

After looking at the bolt a bit closer, it appeared that the center hole was drilled off center of the bolt.

I had the same problem with my boost bolt. It snapped off just with just a tad bit of pressure applied. Not even close to the torque specs. After examining it, I found that the hole was drilled way off center. One side was like 2X the thickness of the other. I think it's easier to just tap the intake manfold. It's not too bad anyways......
