GPD 392 Walbro Pump -- Supports Dual Cp3's?

I was told by Glacier Diesel Performance that their walbro 392 pump will not sufficiently support dual cp3 pumps. I have this set up now, but it seems like I need more fuel.

I see other's with my same mods -- what do you think?

Should I bump up the walbro pump with their performance upgrade (spring and washers) or go with an Air dog/raptor 150 pump?

I thought the stock walbro pump produced 130 gph? With the spring/washer kit wouldn't be close to the air dog/raptor pump?

walbro is only a 75-85GPH pump(MAX)...so yes they told you right..if you got the mods for dual CP3's(big injectors) then you will not have the flow to feed your duals with a walbro..
I would look at a Airdog or Mitusa...

I know that member tritont had it for a while, but, no, it will not support them.

I see that Air Dog has a 250, and I think that Mitusa is a gear driven pump off your serpentine (sp) belt, and they are good. I believe that you can get both from the DTR Store, just call Lary...

one walbro will support approximately 725 HP on a single cp3. On duals, it will definitely pull the pressure down

Lloyd, mine would not support my edge after I did the turbo and injector upgrade... not sayin you're lyin!

I had that thing turned up, didn't help. turned down, didn't help...

The Walbro is a great pump, just not for big power...

Walbro made 675 hp for me and did not budge 1 psi. On dual cp3's there is twice the return fuel...so demand per hp is way higher. Just run another Walbro is parallel for a simple fix...or start all over.

A Raptor 150 has served me well...but I am going to move up again.

Dual Walbro pumps run in parallel with a 1/2in. or -8an or larger feed line will do the trick if you are looking at the quickest, easiest, and cheapest way. That setup could easily support 1000hp+ in a dual CP3 application.

at 650 hp on a single cp3, my walbro drops from 40psi to low 20's.

I'd have to agree with the other's in saying that you should run a bigger pump for your duals.

The only downside i can see about the mitusa is u cannot use a fluid ampr with it, can u use the fluidampr with the gdp version?

Mitusa version is available for use with the fluidamper. I am running it now. It is a little cramped on the drivers side front on 03-04 trucks if you are using a bypass kit, twin cp3s and the big mitusa though. Should be a little better on 05-07s due to moving the tps, throttle cables and brackets inside the truck. Tim

Um..Cramped is an understatement on mine! It looks like a 6.0 on that side...LOL.

Tools/nuts/bolts never make it to the floor when the fall on the driver's side!
