Got the wrong turbo ... should I keep it?
Having a moment of crisis at the moment. I am on vacation and on Friday my lift pump gave up..... so I ordered an airdog system ... and just because he gave me a good deal I got an afe stage 2 intake, 5" exhaust, and HTT 62/71/13 SS turbo as well. However he sent me one without the polished housing and I thought I was getting the polished housing. Accidental miscommunication between us .... as we were rushing to make the overnight deadline for shipping. I need to leave before he can get me a polished turbo delivered and its -20 at home, and I am not installing a turbo outside in those temps so I am temped to just slap her on ......... but its not shiny Would you keep it or just wait for spring time??

I never thought about how hard it might be to keep clean especially being in snow / salt all the time..... maybe a good mistake not getting the polished one I thought the price was kinda wild for polished SS ..... actually still an excellent deal not being polished........ In she goes

i have a silver bullet and i have yet to clean it once since it went it, keep the one you got unless you paid for a polished one, even then just get a refund for the difference, shinny metal doesnt make her faster! plus it wont stay that shinny for long unless you constantly clean it, and that can be a PITA!
