I was driving my long commute(2.2 miles) home late tonight when some idiot decides to pull out from a stop sign as I'm approaching. A hard stab on the brakes with ABS working well, got almost stopped as the dude changes his mind and stops

Being irritated with his careless driving, I stepped on the go pedal but forgot to downshift first. I noticed his headlights as well as another vehicle, dissapear.

The second vehicle was a LEO! Reds and Blues came on and he stopped me.....must be more carefull next time.

Long story short got out of a ticket and got to show LEO my CCW that had flew onto the floor durring the stop.

Gotta love consevative Northern CA!

Here in Billings MT. The city cops WILL give you a buck fifty ticket for burning coal in your Cummins/Dmax/Powerjoke. Oh and BTW Billings is the home of the DirtyMax from G&J.

I think we are going to see more of these type tickets and stops as time goes on. I know if Cali, there are a few places were drivers can write down your license plate and report you.

Yeah, I was behind a car that was going 10mph under the speed limit, finally got a chance to go around and as I passed burning coal ( her window was down as a bonus). She got behind me and it looked like she was trying to write my plate ( I have a curved smoke cover), she followed me for about 6-7 blocks going as fast as I was now, if she was going with the flow of traffic she would of never noticed me. Now, as soon as I seen her tring to get my plate, I made sure I didn't burn any coal. She either gave up or decided that my truck wasn't a gross polluter, that was a couple months ago and haven't recieved anything in the mail.

I try to be good and not burn coal but sometimes it just needs to be done. I consider it as my first line of defense from attacks from behind. Usually takes care of tailgaters. 2nd line is a monster hitch that weighs more than a Honda Civic.

I have heard though that they were busting down smokers here too. I just try and keep it to a minimum so the tree huggers have less to hang us for. If they are trying to tax cow farts, they would probably have us shot on the scene.

Don't worry guys I'm a no-till farmer. I sequester carbon on a daily basis, the way i see it i just use my carbon credits before Al Gore gets a chance to buy them so he can feel better about burning hundreds of gallons of jet fuel (deisel) in a single trip. If you guys want to use some to feel free. Just tell the next cop to pull you over that you got your carbon credits.
