Got a SMARTY for x-mas

My girlfriend got me a smarty for x-mas and wow that thing is sweet. I get tons of smoke though and i want to get some different programs off the computer but i dont know which ones i should try since i got aftermarket injectors and turbo which my signature shows. I dont really understand the torque management and catcher stuff that much either. I appriciate any help thanks.

if you dont have a clutch upgrade, then i would reccomend the aftermarket injectors/turbo programming, and go with the moderate torque management. Keep it on #5 or less, otherwise you will need a new clutch for valentines day....LOL. the newer programming on the mads website will produce much less smoke than the one your smarty comes pre-loaded with!!

I'm going to get a SB 3600 real soon but i haven't felt like messing with my truck much so i'm going to have one of my friends do it for me, he has a pulling truck and he knows how to put it in. I also want to get my cp3 done too but dont have a place to take it off in the cold weather so i'm going to have to wait until summer. I wont loose any power if i download the aftermarket injectors/ turbo program will I?

you shouldn't......but you might due too the decreased timing.....but from what I have seen from mine, with injectors, I dont lose any power switching between programs.

man you better love that girl lol. I would be nice to her the ones I date wont even buy me a meal. there are lots of updates for the smarty so it makes them well worth owning. the tuning for the aftermarket turbo/injectors should help you out. if you dont have a strong clutch you might just try the mild tq management for now. the wild is pretty snappy . If I were you I would run a setting with no timing and run your tst on low levels. or if you are running an odd number now like 7 for example dont run your tst or up very high. too much timing wouldnt be a good thing. I think you have an awesome year of truck to mod. I miss my 05 sometimes it was a good truck
