The Banks starts the "torque curve" as you put it, later in the powerband... so you may still like the VA over the Banks. The Banks, with the speedloader, on 6 will give a few more ponies on the top than the VA.
Said it before, I don't like pressure boxes for daily driving... shortens injector life.

Agreed...I HAD it on my truck for a number of months and took it off and never looked back. If I were to look back, I'd remember the lack of power and the pain to install/uninstall it!
