I guess ill hit up a marine shop soon
What would you trigger the relay with? Keyed hot?
Im not sure if I want it keyed hot, to need the truck/key on, then again, it might be a good idea to have the truck running when using it to avoid draining the batteries too much.(If thats a concern)

Since you'll be using a multi-pin plug/socket, can't the winch initiate the relay?
... and if you'd rather not have continous voltage present in a high-ampacity cable under the cab, just put the relay on the battery side of the power circuit.
Otherwise - no worries - I have two 000 cables through the floor under my seat for the 5KW inverter.

Man I sure love the stacks you fabed up. I guess the winch is more of a priority though. Looks good, I cant help you with the wiring though. You remember how hard it was trying to tell which steel to buy for stacks.

Yeah, shouldnt be a problem having the winch trigger it...
(Its only rated @ 20amps)

Nah, wont be THAT loud, but youll know its there, thats for sure
Right before I took off my stacks, I had my fiancee and her sister riding in the back seat out to get something to eat, and they couldnt hear each other while trying to hold a conversation
And thats WITH sound deadener on the doors, back floor/cab, and roof.(2 layers of RAAM mat, and the roof with 2 layers and some "custom" foil/bubblewrap insulation)
