Got the black wheels on.

Got the black wheels on the truck with the 285/70/17 BFG MT's ;D. Gonna try and post some pictures. Yes the truck is dirty. It got washed on Sun and I work in muddy areas most of the time. I'm happy what do you guys think? Not sure what to do with the center caps. Thinking about getting a second set and painting them black? O.k. won't let me post the pictures they are to big. I will retake them a a lower res and try and post tomorrow.

Looks very nice. I like the Mud tire/black rim combo.

Re:Got the black wheels on.

Looks pretty hardcore. Makes it look like the truck is 10 years old, and all retrofitted. Definitely need to get those front windows tinted to match the back ones! Sweet truck!

Re:Got the black wheels on.

It takes a bit of work, and a little patience.

Post them like you did,
open the attachment in a new window.
Right click on the pic in the new window, properties, copy the url.
Edit the original post, removing the attatchment, and putting the [ img] and [ /img] brackets in (by clicking on the little picture icon above, next to Add YABBC tags)
Paste the picture URL in between the img's.

If you want to do multiple pics,
add an attachment to the edited post,
you'll end up with a pic in the post, and an attachment.
Edit that post now, just like you did the first time.
Over and over again till you get all the pics you wanted into the post.

Or, you could upload them to the members photos, get the url from them that way, and do it all in one post.

Too much work, maybe.
Makes for a pretty post though.

Looks good VPI,,,,
I'm wondering what a set of chrome trim rings added to them would look like. (Hey,,,hey,,,, : ,,,,, how about all you "Hard-Core Off-Road guys stop laughing) ;D
I was just trying to think of something that might look good without the expense of buying and painting another set of center caps,,, I heard they're rather high dollar. Just an idea,,

Re:Got the black wheels on.

VPI,

Wheels look real good. I am a little partial though. ;D

I don't have center caps on my wheels. Just painted the center black. I think it looks pretty good. Well, I guess I should say it doesn't look bad. I really don't like chrome in the middle of my black wheels. 8) One other thing I wanted to mention is that you can take off the blue and red stripes with finger nail polish remover. Just FYI.

Thanks for the tip I will try the finger nail polish thing. Just put my wheels back on. It's been raining here so lots of mud.

Re:Got the black wheels on.

I have the Allied 17x8 black wheels with Pro Comp 305/70/17's. I had to put Bushwacker Extend a fender flares on to even out the look. I left the chrome center caps off.....will probably get them powder coated black later. ;D
