Going To Steele,al To Bust C6
This is probably not this right place to post this but oh well...
I have a buddy that's on his way to Oklahoma City to pick up a 2005 Corvette C6. He has talked stuff about it constantly. Point of this thread is, In about 3 or 4 weeks a bunch of us are going over to Steele, AL from the Atl area to bust this guy's ***. (hopefully) I'll be running my 06 black Mega cab if I can get everything on by then, which I should. I'll know a definite date in a week or so if anyone in the area is interested in going.

Good luck! I raced a C6 convertible automatic last weekend at the strip, it had stock exhaust so was probably stock all around. We both got a horrible 2.2 60' and he still ran 13.4@108mph. I ran a 13.7@104, so he was walking me at the end. Stay in the 1/8 if you can!

Yep I can walk all over them to the 1/8 but nothing around here is stock at the tracks they really come on at the big end. Ive had a few of them come up to me after we got done racing and say that thing is mean how much $ have you put into this thing and I just laugh and say about $900, they can't believe it and most of the time walk away shacking their heads like dang maybe I should have gotten a cummins. Good luck just get out on him and make him try and run you down.

I'm trying to scrape extra money to put a few more things on my truck. The good thing is the vette has a 6 speed. I still need some more topend though. Any suggestions?

My black 06 was never intended to be a "track" truck. Just kinda happened. I will be putting a bigger turbo, I just can't decide what direction I want to go in. Thought about 64/71/14, or run a 62 for now ( not as strong?) then use the 62 in a twin setup.??

Quadzilla x2 pressure stacker level 5 and smarty beta 4.4 sw #9 with a trans lockup switch ran 13.309 at the 2007 tx diesel nationals. That is all that is done to the truck everything else is bone stock. I have pushed the limits as far as I really want to I think the truck has 13.2s in it my 60' was .2 slower that pass then previous passes just wasnt sure how the truck was going to act with the smarty since this was the first pass I ever made with that combo. I have torn up a couple corvetts at the track with different setups on this truck and boy they never like it.
