goerend torque convertor

What do you guys recommend for a torque convertor from dave goerend. A 15 blade left cut or a 900/400. Not sure about the tightness. I will run the smarty on #5-7 and don't do boosted launches. Only the occasional romp of the ricer at a stop light. I have a toyhauler that I tow 6 times a year and it weighs around 11,000#. I will be doing daves valve body at the same time. I did talk to Dave and am kind of waiting to pull the trigger because he said he was getting close to eliminating the flare shifting. Also are you guys that are running an aftermarket torque convertor on a 2006 getting a check engine light? I really would not like that so let me know what you are using and if you have a check engine light on? Thanks alot!

If you have too tight of a converter, some 06s will though check engine lights. Dave has a different 15 blade left cut.... It is mixed with a stock stall. Works really nice. If you are going to swap turbos later on or add more power, you will want the 15 blc/ss

So later on I might go to a bd special turbo. So I would want the 15blade left cut or the 15 blade left cut that is mixed w/ stock stall?

Are you going single disc or triple? I'm trying to figure all this tranny stuff also.

I have the 15 blade LC converter and i love it. I tow a good amount of weight and love the fluid coupling it gives. Perfect in my book.

I just had my new tranny installed, and I love the 15 blade left vut, way better than my previous TCS converter, Powe comes on different and spools the twins faster

I'm running the 900/400 with my 64/71/13. I love the stall of this converter and it does not throw a code on lock up. Good combo!

Speaking of codes on lock up, come to think of it my Last TQ (TCS) did throw codes with lock up. the Goerend has not . I am really like the way this Goerend 15 blade left cut feels.
