Go with 20's or back to 22's
Hey guys - Someone was cool enough to loosen the lug nuts on my drivers side front wheel and it went bye bye at 60mph Anyway bodyshop can't find matching Azuka 22 inch wheel, so they are asking for approval from my insurance company to replace the 22's with 4 new wheels of my choice. I had been looking for mud terrain tires on the 22's and it is kind of limited. So should I go back to a smaller and more popular 20" wheel. Like the look of a 6 or 8 spoke wheel has to be chrome. What do you guys think? By the way don't know how the truck didn't roll over or get anymore damage. Suspension damage is around 4300 bucks. 5 of us walked away from the chaos, someone was watching my back. Bodyshop called insurance company and said that "truck was tampered with." Authorities are involved. Keep em' all four on the ground and thanks in advance.

Yeah the Big Homie is a sweet wheel. I am also entertaining the Jesse James I-Beam wheel. If the insurance company will pay for replacement tire and wheels I am thinking of going with some 325/60/22 BFG or Pro Comp tires. Should find out insurance companies plan later today. Dealership is pushing them to allow for 4 new ones saying that the truck should leave in the same condition that it came in to them.

If got pics of the Eagle Alloy 064s in my profile (pictures section) in 20" with 35x12.5x20 Toyo Open Country MTs. I did a ton of research on tires before I bought my setup and time and time again was pushed away from ProComp (not just by tire companies) if I'm planning on using them on an off road. Seems a lot of people had problems with them chunking out (losing all or a portion of a lug or lugs). Have heard almost all positive stuff on the Toyos - other than they wear fast if you don't rotate them and tow heavy. Good luck! I think I'd go with the 20"s, just because of the tire availability and cost issues.

CC - Was thinking of going with a 325/60/22 something around a 35 inch tall tire. Debated adding a lift kit to run a set of 37's. The local 4wheel parts said that I could clear a 35 with a leveling kit.

I clear 35's with a leveling kit. Get a rub here and there, but nothing bad.
