While on holiday vacation across the state, the lift pump went out while my wife was driving the truck on Christmas Eve.

I was waiting for a good excuse to buy the Walbro Kit from GDP, but the timing wasn't ideal. I sent my order in on 12/25 hoping to get it by the 12/27 and Richard came through for me and got it as expected.

The install was pretty straight forward, but those push lock were pretty tough.

Have you guys notice and MPG increase with the Walbro set up? On my virgin run on the Walbro setup, I went over the pass in the snow and slush and on 4 wheel drive on good portion of the pass and got 19+. I expected more like 14 mpg. Both Smarty and Quad was set to stock on this trip. I usually get 19+ on straight freeway driving, so going on 4 wheel drive up a mountain and driving at a low speed, 19+ is pretty good.
