Glacier Diesel Fuel Canister Delete
My Glacier Diesel fuel cansister delete came in today, was wondering if anyone has installed one? If so how do you rate the product and would you recommend it to someone else?

If you are running the ADII with no supp filtering you probably don't want to delete the OE canister, you need to plumb thru it to get the required water filtration.

I am so sick of hearing about the 2 micron filter BULL ****! I didn't ask about a filter, I asked about the canister delete. Everyone used to say get the AirDog because it has a 2 micron filter. Now every post about an AirDog install someone starts talking about how you need more filters. I know all about how "I need a 2 micron filter or my injectors will go bad." If I wanted one I would have asked about it on the post instead of the canister delete.

But based on the handful of other GDP products I have installed it should go easy, GDP makes good kits that are complete and have great instructions.

GDP makes GREAT products, I'm sure that your canister delete is top quality and will do exactally what it is you are seeking to accomplish.
AH64ID is absolutely correct when it comes to fuel/water seperation, the stock canister is actually more applicable/capable for this purpose than the water seperator/filter on the AD.
I am installing an AD-150 here real soon, and I plan to go through the stock canister because it seperates the water better among other benefits. I have a 2006, same year as you do. I donot know what your total mileage to date is, but if you have miles left on your warranty, the presence of the stock canister is what will guarantee that you can 'collect' on your engine warranty, otherwise, you are on your own with regards.

Installed a glacier fuel filter delete kit. It is a nice piece, fits like its suppose, powdercoated. Buddy was happy with it, the engine bay looks alot cleaner/ less mess. Compared to the other side of the engine with the twin turbos, lol.

I still have the original water separator on the AD that came with the AD; however I bought a Fleetguard FS19768 water separator as a spare. Is the AD WS just a re-badged Fleetguard?
It would be no big deal to re-plumb back through the stock canister if there is an issue.
