Geno's Muffler Elimination Kit is Installed
So I filed my taxes and got a little more of a refund than I expected, so I bought a couple things for the truck I've been meaning to buy. I got a Cool Down Timer (because I don't have the X-monitor w/ CES anymore), a BHAF, and a Muffler Elimination Kit from Geno's. Got the CTD and the pipe today, so I installed them. First impressions: I think I'm gonna like it! Barely louder cruising without a load, definately louder under load but it sounds good. My EGTs are down a bit, and the truck seems to spool a little faster. Hopefully that'll get even better with the BHAF.
The only thing I haven't tried is towing, but that'll happen Friday when I tow my Jeep about 120 miles (~6,000lbs total)
