General thoughts on Quadzilla boxes
I've heard that Quadzilla is coming out with some new boxes for the Dodge CTD. For those that have used them before, what has been your opinion of them? How has customer service been if you had a problem with the box. Just looking for general thoughts from those that have used Quad's boxes in the past.

In my dealings with them their customer service has been very knowledgeable and took all the time needed to answer my (juvenile) questions. If you read Doug's box matrix/comparison, I think you'll find he felt the original quad box he tested wasof good quality and driveability. I'm currently beta testing the new box you're asking about, and I'd say it will be worth the wait. The instructions are great, installation is less than 15 minutes total, and it performs really well. Just one guy's opinion who has no affiliation other than going for this beta test program.

I have had the Quad 0-50-100 Tow box on my truck for the last 12K miles. I haven't had any problems with it. The low end power is awesome. I can spin my 35" tires into 3rd gear with ease. On the 100 horse setting, you need to have a good clutch or beefed up auto. My clutch starting going south about 5K miles ago, so I have had to leave it on the 50 setting until I can install my new South Bend.
I was concerned about how high the rail pressure went up using the Quad, so I email them and asked. This was their reply, "We basically follow the stock pressure curve. We keep the pressure well under the maximum allowed or pop off pressure. Typically what is done is that the pressure is changed earlier on the bottom and ramps up quicker, it is not necessarily more pressure.
Quad"
I hope this answers some of your questions.

I don't believe I can share the specifics yet, but I'm testing the standard module(not the race version), and on the highest power setting doing 0-100mph runs (empty) EGT's are not a problem and don't even need to be watched. My truck is an otherwise stock 305/555 with a 4" exhaust and Scotty 3 intake.

Ok we've been cleared for specifics. The standard module is 30-60-100hp. On the 100hp setting the highest I can get is 1300 for a few seconds and then it settles to 1250 WOT on a 0-100mph run. All settings are just as driveable as stock - the power is not peaky and the engine sounds normal. On the 60hp setting the highest I could get was 1100. On the 30hp setting EGT's were the same as stock.

AK Ram - a little of all three. Pressure is kept WELL within safe limits even on the highest settings/WOT.
Justcampin - I haven't had a chance to test it towing. It's been so snowy and nasty here I haven't had much reason to hook up a trailer and take the toys anywhere. The most hauling I've done with it is hauling my snowboard to the local spot.
I did take a road trip with it from cleveland to chicago, on the flat/straight I-80 route thru IN. With the cruise on 68 I got 21.5mpg for half the trip, hand calc (filled back up). I threw it on the 30hp setting and resumed 68, and ended up with 22.3mpg. Both times my overhead computer was off by it's standard .5mpg, so it appears the box hasn't thrown my overhead off more than it was from the factory.

I also am a beta tester for quad and have the standard version I highly recommend it. The EGTs run about 100 deg higher than stock on the highest setting (100hp) also I run it mainly on the 60 hp setting and am getting about 1.5 mpg better fuel milage I am sure that does not anything to most people but it does to me That is hand calculated and verified on three tanks now.

The info is up on the site now for the new module - http://www.quadzillapower.com/2003_dodge.htm
Another beta tester with the info can comment on the torque output - my info is all sitting at my work computer.

we love the new quad box
but our stock 47re doesn't
super easy install, three connections ... boost, fuel pressure and data link (i think)
i timed installation ... 15 minutes
amazing how smooth ... i would buy this box for this feature alone
