I don't think you or most any of us will be blowin up intakes anytime soon.

Somebody brought up a good point on that other post.
That curled part on the flange sure looks like it had to get hot to curl like that.

Also
that MR. jlibert feller better hurry up and get home and get us some #s.

It looks to me like the mounting flange is turned around. The curled part is probably the part that goes under the radius of the horn.

Well, during our testing boost pressure rose to about 55psi and then the Glacier manifold exploded. j/k.

Erik is going to do a full write up on it, but from what I remember of the graph, it pick up about 10hp on top, and significantly more from about 2000-2600 rpms. I saw higher boost with the GDP than without. IIRC, there was a stretch of RPMs where the GDP manifold made ~50hp more than stock. It also made more power after peak hp, which may be beneficial to racers and pullers up in that rpm range. Anyway, Erik said he'll post the results sometime today.

It definitely made power, not quite as dramatic as the CFM, but pretty good for sure. I will do the analysis and get it posted up sometime today (might be this evening, we are slammed at the shop)
But if you were waiting to pull the trigger, I would say the GDP is a fine unit to go with.

I went with the GDP about 4 mos ago. Noticable inprovement on the highway. Got it mainly for moderate TT towing. Craftsmanship was better on mine as far as matching surfaces. It's simple, clean has xtra ports and mountings as needed and is less $$. my.02

I went with the GDP, but then I'm also replacing the plastic pipe between the horn and intercooler. Nice looking, very functional over the stock horn, mine had NO signs of any mis-match, mounted up like it owned that spot. I also have the 2-micron filtration from GDP, it's a quality product too. I am a very satisfied GDP customer.

I believe you are correct.
Makes more sense now looking at the pieces seeing how they fit together.

Hey Eric
When you post numbers on the GDP and you also post numbers for the CFM? It would be nice to compare the numbers

Quick Reply: GDP manifold or CFM+ manifold???
