GDP kit?
What did you guys drill the 15/16s hole with in your tank?
I cant find a normal bit nor a hole saw in a 15/16s so I got a standard wood bit, not ideal but I dont know what else to use.
Second, do you need to use the factory O ring when intalling the billet filter lid?
I put mine on last night and the O ring had streached so I did not use one. No leaks but with the increased pressure of the GDP if I need it I will put one on. I forgot I had a spare filter in my toolbox until this morning.
Also you guys with the MK2 filter, what do you recomend running in the factory location? 7mk or 10mk?
Any info would be great, I am gona try and get it done Tuesday night.

I tried reusing my O-ring when I installed my cap and it stretched too much and squeezed out from under the cap. I had fuel everywhere. I can't believe yours isn't leaking!!!
The tank is just plastic so I'm sure your wood hole saw will work fine.....

I changed my canister filter to 7nm when i installed the GDP 2-nm/big line kit. I installed the billet cap at the same time, new O-ring with the filter.
I am planning on installing the Walbro pump at a later date, was thinking about using a wood bit for the 15/16 hole too. It should be just fine with the plastic. I have drilled plastic with a stepper bit also, they do go up to that size (and larger).

I bought a couple different size step bits years ago. They are handy to have, I have used them many-many times, worth the investment. I like not having to change the bit when custom fitting something. Nice part about them is that they are short and fit into tight places with a 90* drill.

Talked to Rich today and he said he uses a step bit but a spade bit like I have would work too and recomended puttin a small block of wood under the bit in the tank to cut down on vibration.
However if any of you decide to try this I will not be held responsible if you drill a hole in your hand
So that is what I am gonna try but it will likely be Thursday night before I can try it.
DZ#1, I forgot that I had a 10mk filter and new O ring in my tool box last night I could have used, may change it out here in a few minutes.
Thanks for the help guys.
