Gauges...

Trying to decide between analog and digital gauges. I currently have pyro and boost in my A pillar. My truck is maxing out the 60lbs boost gauge. I need rail pressure and fuel pressure as well as s 100lbd boost gauge. Wondering if I should go all analog or digital and what digital would work best with my smarty SO6.

I like the idea of the digital systems that store your highest values. But don't know how accurate they are. I also don't know what works well with the smarty.

Analog is what I would recommend.

Well I went for the Outlook CTS. But it was pricey for everything I wanted. I called edge and got all my part numbers. I ordered the monitor itself part number 83830 I also ordered two part number 98607. These are pressure sensors that hook into the monitor they will measure my fuel pressure and 100 lb boost pressure. I ordered part number 98603 for the EGT probe. 98605 to convert the reading on the boost and fuel pressure sensors so the monitor can display them correctly. So now It will read Railpressure, boost to 100# regardless of if you are using a boost fooler, fuel pressure to 100#, pyro, and all the other functions it normally did. This is costly but now I have all of my info in one spot. I can go back and see what my max values were and set alarms for any of them.

Analogue is the way

Personally I like analogue as I look at the needle position and not the actual values. I glance at the needle and if it is in the position I expect I'm good. Digital was that a 38 or a 30? I recommend gauges that put the needle in the mid third. IE 20 PSI from lift pump 0 - 40 fuel pump scale. I liked the Autometer Lunar but they have discontinued them. My next choice is the ISSPRO as they match the factory Dodge gauges fairly well especially at night, dead ringer. Good luck.

I agree with the analogue for the same reasons. I glance at them and know if I'm ok or not without actually "Looking" at them.

I have the Autometer factory match gauges and they are awesome! They match extremely well.
