Gauge bulbs
Hey guys, I installed my autometer gauges over the weekend (pyro, boost, trans) and I like them but the bulbs suck, green doesn't match at all and red isn't much better does anyone have LED bulbs in theirs? If so how are they? I have the phantom series.

I have green LEDs (3285) in my Z-Series gauges. They cast a soft, even glow. I put them in for longevity, hopefully they will last longer than incandescents. The only negative is that they are pricey, $10.00 plus each. John

I have the greens as well on Phantom gauges. They are plenty bright. Look good too. I have noticed the LED gauges never get hot vs the incan lit gauges. I've had them for a few years now. They are sencitive to a good ground. If you have a week ground, they will go to half brightness or shut off.
If I had your email, I could shoot you a pic of the phantom gauges with green leds and with standard bulbs with the green filter. I have leds on my boost pyro trans and incandescents on the air bag pressure and water meth line pressure. It drives me nuts they don't match but I just haven't ordered the additional leds yet.
