Garrett turbo charger (twins)

This ones for the turbo guys... What is the best or recommended Garrett turbo to place over my 80mm S400. 700hp is the goal with flux-3s....

Any particular reason that you are looking at Garrett? Our Super B would fit over that and work awesome in that application. That is basically what our R700 twins are anyways.

No specific reason.. I have access to descent supply of mildly used turbos from a tuner friend of mine.

Just thought I would try something different. I will be making some calls on Fri to get some more info.

Look first at a gt4088r (if Garrett is what you are set on) 2nd choice is gt4094r

Sorry that you cant drive 55! No really, I am wondering what the sizes are of the standard bd twins. I have heard many things and would like to here it from the horses mouth. They are not keeping my truck cool. I have called and called and I get a "uh,uh,uh well let me talk to this person" responce. i would like to know first hand.. thanks buddy.

what do you want to know. They will cool up to 575hp, if you want more power then go bigger.

We actually have three sets of twins for the 3rd gen trucks. The towing twins will work to 575-600hp. The R700 twins are going to support 700-725hp. The new R850s which we are just in the process of releasing has supported very close to 1000hp on two of the test trucks. I will have the CFM specs on what they flow for you as soon as our turbo engineer gets in.

Not sure what the R850 turbo's are but I don't think an S300/400 combo will keep close to 1000 cool. I have done over 900 on a combo like that and it is very hot.

The S400 we use in that kit we modify it to flow more. 24VChevy on here has had them on his dyno and had the numbers to prove them. There are so many different configurations of them out there that they are not all going to perform the same.
