Garrett is on its way
Well I bit the bullet today and ordered a modified gt37 housing with gt4094 internals from Tom at Turbo resource. He said it will take a few days to get it machined and together so it looks like I will pick it up next week. Can't wait to get this thing on and see what it does.

He said that he has seen surge at high altitude and stock cam. The gt37 housings are smaller and use t3 flange to bolt up in same location as factory would.

I have the stage 2 on mine and I like it for the most part. Only thing better for my truck would be twins that i can't afford. Tom at turbo resource is a good guy, I am sure you will like the turbo. Good Luck.

Well I've had the new Garrett on for the past couple of weeks now and so far I am really happy with it. I'm still playing with my smarty settings to find out where it's happy. Spool is quick for a big turbo and lights around 15 psi with a stock cam . It will surge at 25 psi if you are below 2k rpm. With a manual trans it's not that big of an issue. I am going to install a bypass valve to help with turbo bark and surge. For those who are thinking going garrett Tom at turbo resource is a great guy and makes a fantastic product. Thanks again soulezoo for all your help.
