g56 growl ?

PJ it sounds more like a bearing going bad. With the stock clutch I still had the same growl but it is definately more pronounced with the new clutch. I love the new 3250 what little I have driven it. Shifts really smooth engages very nice I don't expect any differences when backing a trailer either. I can now change gears and bury the needle.
Might want to call Peter and see if it is something he has heard of?

Mine will make a growl below 1600, or when ever it is in a lugging condition. I just consider it a normal truck like noise. I know I have heard it in 1,2,3,4,5,6 gear.

I'm with ramrodd , mine does it to, I think it's because you got rid of the crap duelmass flywheel witch soaked up the tranny lash noise. I think you will be OK. I love my 3600 12 button DD!!!

In 5th gear the growl really never goes away. I thought like you guy's that it was from lugging alittle in the lower rpms at first but it continued to get worse and now pretty loud in 5th gear.
